This page explains what information Snowly, a Mac app by Rivon Labs, and this website read and store.
The Snowly app
- Snowly reads only the position and size of other apps’ windows and which app owns them, to find where snow can settle.
- It doesn’t read window titles, window contents, or screen images.
- It doesn’t read the state of your microphone or input devices.
- It doesn’t connect to the internet and asks for no permissions.
- It shows no ads and uses no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
- Settings are stored only on this Mac.
- It doesn’t collect any data, including personal information.
This website
- It uses no cookies or analytics tools.
- Its pages don’t load anything from outside servers or send requests to them.
- However, this website is served by GitHub Pages, and GitHub logs and stores visitors’ IP addresses for security purposes.
- Only the checkmarks in the Meeting Notes window on the home page are kept, in that tab’s
sessionStorage. They are erased when you close the tab, though your browser may restore them if you reopen a closed tab.
